LITTLE FLY LITERARY JEWELS
Jeremy May, the creator of Little Fly, captures the beauty of paper, and hand-crafts each piece of his ‘literary jewels’ by laminating hundreds sheets of re-claimed paper from vintage books and drawing pads. They are then artistically sculpted into hard solids with a high gloss lacquer finish and re-inserted into the excavated space of each book and named after its title.
The pieces are remarkable objects of desire, unique to the wearer and impossible to replicate. The beauty of the jewels extends from the original printed texts, colours, and images all the way though the surfaces – giving a tantalising glimpse of the thoughts within.
JULIE ‘t FLET DESIGNER JEWELS
Julie 't Felt is a Belgium jewellery designer who hand-makes each of her pieces using precious metal of gold and silver, and embellishing them with colourful enamel leaves and pearls that are signature to her collection.
Julie draws her inspirations from nature and from history. She creatively deploys the customisation concept with a feminine touch, making each piece multi-functional yet delicate; enabling the wearer to choose interchangeable colours and styles to complement their outfits and their moods.
